Eyes are the windows to our souls. Many of us who have such windows of a brown color feel they would rather have been blessed with a more unique color like a shade of green or blue.
For those of you who feel this way this article may help to show why there are huge advantages to having brown eyes in terms of makeup.
Brown eyes, of all eye colors, are easiest to match makeup colors for. Because of this fact brown eyed girls enjoy the widest range of looks they can achieve using eye makeup.
In this article the advantages of having brown eyes will reveal themselves by way of great makeup tips on choosing eye shadow for brown eyes, possible colors for eyeliner and mascara to go along with them. We will also describe several looks you can wear by way of makeup if you have brown eyes.
Most eyeshadow colors can work well with brown eyes as long as they are applied properly.
Don’t hesitate to experiment with shades of earthy browns, mocha, golds, taupes, these are considered to be the most complementary for brown eyes. But remember that with brown eyes you can get away with any color so try shades of greens, blues. Grays, futuristic colors and any other eyeshadow colors you may think of and get your hands on.
It is a good idea to experiment with cheaper brands and stock up with better quality eyeshadow once you get the feel of wich shades work for you.
Of course your skin tone, mood, specific shade of brown in your eyes and other such variables will influence the right eyeshadow shades for you.
You will find that different eyeshadows allow you to create looks for the office, ordinary everyday looks, nighttime party looks etc.
Shades that also really perk up brown eyes are of Light pink, peach, purple or indigo because they contrast them.
The same way that many colors of eyeshadow can work with brown eyes this is also true for eyeliners. Try browns, black or even blue eyeliner. Use subtle to heavy contours. Wearing mascara and curling your eyelashes will finish up your look nicely.
An everyday look for brown eyed girls can be achieved using skin tone foundation, a base of neutral shade. For eyeshadow use peach, light pink or another subtle color. Eyeliner of a light brown shade and black mascara on curled lashes. For the complete look wear light pink flush on your cheeks and just lip gloss (or a very light color lipstick).
For a wilder night time look use heavier foundation that still blends with your skin tone, neutral shimmering base, mocha or dark purple eyeshadow. Use neutral shade again for eye lining both upper and lower lids. Black color eyeliner and three coats of black mascara. Minimum color lipstick so as not to divert attention from eyes
There are endless other looks unique for brown eyes. You should feel happy to have brown colored eyes thar allow you such a wide variety of looks.
