Watch Google Street View For Amazing Close Up Views
The awesome Google Street View is a new function added to Google Maps and Earth letting you see a selection and streets from around the globe in a 360° horizontal and 290° degree vertical panoramic views from a set number of positions along the streets at a height of around 2.5 metres.
The great thing about viewing satellite images is that you get to see real photographs from anyplace in the world, Big Ben, The Coloseum, craters formed when dinosaurs roamed the world, you name it. You can then save and share that fantastic satellite view with friends and family and add more interesting information such as where you got married, or the busiest road in town.
A great feature after you have discovered your sight is that you can move and rotate the satellite image showing a birds eye view on buildings, mountains and landmarks on the terrain. Some people have asked me if the pictures are in real time and if you run around outside your house will you see yourself? The answer is no, we would need a lot of satellites out in orbit if this could happen.
One possible problem that can happen, is your pc may not be powerful enough to handle the application or show the 3D images. But if your pc is quick enough you have many options to research

Its easy to spend hours on Google Earth whizzing in and out of all the worlds big man made items. It has become one of the most popular time killer for computer users now. Viewing the Great Wall of China from space, for example, can give you a true sense of its size. Simply the fact you can see it from space and its size.
Natural Landmarks
It’s also a lot of fun to browse the web for aerial images of the world’s natural views. There are plenty to see in the US on its own. The rainbow-colored hot springs of Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, and the snow caps of California’s Sierra Nevada are all unbelievable views, especially when shot from low flying survey planes, which offer clearer images and different perspectives.
Google Street View
This is a great feature of online digital mapping technology nowadays is the capability to see a street view of almost every major city on Earth. I’m talking of Google Maps street view option, which permits you to go to virtually any city in the map and take a virtual tour of it. The images used for streetview mode have been taken from hundreds of car-mounted cameras across the world that work every day to make the streetview mode as up to date as possible. While your searching, you can find some interesting pictures. Everything from a car crash to a man who visited a lady of the night.
